GUESTROOM BILLING ARRANGEMENTS
Room charge and applicable tax will be added to the master account. Individual guests will be responsible for all incidental charges added to their guest rooms and will be required to add a credit card at check in to their reservation.
METHOD OF RESERVATIONS
Reservations for the event will be made by a rooming list due by 10/01/2026. At the cutoff date, The Lincoln Marriott
Cornhusker Hotel will review the reservation pickup for the event and release the unreserved rooms for general sale.
CHECK-IN/ CHECK OUT
Guest accommodations will be available at 4:00 pm on arrival day and reserved until 11:00 am on departure day (times are subject to change).
INDIVIDUAL RESERVATION CANCELLATION
After the individual attendees have made their own reservations and received a confirmation number, guests will have until
48 Hours prior to arrival to cancel with no penalty.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE
Group acknowledges that the Hotel may charge attendees – as liquidated damages and not a penalty – equal to one night stay at the group rate fee as compensation for the harm caused to the Hotel by unscheduled early departures (an “Early Departure
Fee”). An Early Departure Fee may only be charged if an attendee checks out of the Hotel prior to the attendee’s scheduled departure date, without having notified the Hotel at check-in of the change in scheduled departure. To the extent that Early
Departure Fees are collected from Group’s attendees on a date as to which Group incurs any rooms attrition fee pursuant to this Agreement, the amount of Early Departure Fees actually collected – up to the amount of the attrition payment attributable to that date – will be deducted from any rooms attrition payment that would otherwise be payable. If room reservations are to be made through a rooming list of any kind (or are otherwise not in the Hotel’s control), Group agrees to communicate the above early departure policy to each attendee prior to, or at the time of, the making of an attendee’s rooms reservation.
PHISHING
Please be aware that bad actors can impersonate Hotel employees. Group should never rely solely on contact information sent in an email or respond directly to any email requesting a bank account information change. If Group receives a request from Hotel regarding bank account information, Group should contact the Hotel via verified phone number or in person to confirm the request prior to providing such information.
PAYMENT TERMS
If Group is submitting payment by check, it should be made payable to “The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel” or “The
Cornhusker.” Payments are considered received when cleared funds have been credited to our account. All invoices have a term of net 30 days, from the date of invoice issuance. Special consideration on terms will be made for entities that require meetings for payment approval, such as local City Agencies, State Agencies, Federal Agencies, and Private/Public
Universities.
LATE FEES & AUTHORIZATIONS
An account and/or invoice will be considered past due if payment is not received within 30 days of invoice issuance, or past the agreed upon payment terms for your organization. The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel will begin accruing finance charges on your account, calculated at 2% of total past due charges on the account/invoice, compounding monthly. In an attempt to mitigate accounts aging past 30 days, The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel will authorize any credit cards on file for the amount past due, plus any applicable finance charges. A final invoice will be provided to the group at the time of authorization. If group wishes to reverse any authorization, group will need to contact our accounts receivable clerk and provide an alternate method of payment before any credit will be issued.

All food and beverage served in The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel must be purchased from The Lincoln Marriott
Cornhusker Hotel unless otherwise authorized by the hotel.
