About this file

This document is an Addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) #06-25 for Grass Cutting Services for the City of Hopewell's Department of Recreation and Parks. The IFB requests general mowing and lawn maintenance services for various park locations within the city, with approximate total acreage provided. The addendum addresses questions and responses related to the scope of work, including specifics on mowing frequency, edging requirements, chemical usage, debris removal, and equipment needs. It also clarifies contract start date, payment terms, insurance and bonding requirements, and provides a list of park locations with estimated acreage for each.

Regarding pricing, the addendum notes there is no pre-determined pay rate, as vendors should provide pricing based on their own expertise and requirements of each area. The contract does not require bonding for general landscaping work, but the city has specific insurance requirements. Keys will be provided for locked areas, and no tracing dye is needed to verify spraying completion. Maintenance expectations are also provided for the rock bed area in City Park.
