About this file
This is a Request for Bid (RFB) and Work Order form issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for on-call Region 2 paving services. The project, designated OR153 MP12.6 Crash Paving, involves 3-inch inlay paving on Oregon Route 153 at milepoint 12.60 to repair damaged asphalt concrete pavement resulting from a truck rollover. Work includes cold planing of existing pavement, placement of dense asphalt concrete mixture, application of longitudinal markings matching existing specifications, installation of rumble strips, and sawcutting vertical edges at inlay termination points. The project encompasses seven pay items with estimated quantities including mobilization (1 lump sum), temporary work zone traffic control (1 lump sum), pollution control plan (1 lump sum), cold plane pavement removal at 373 square yards, level 3 dense ACP mixture at 63 tons, hi-build paint for 445 linear feet, and continuous rumble strips for 0.027 miles. The bid submission deadline is August 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with required project completion by October 30, 2026. The work will be performed in Yamhill County.
This procurement is restricted to holders of the existing On-Call Region 2 Paving Price Agreement, meaning only pre-qualified contractors may submit bids. The project requires compliance with domestic preference requirements under ORS 279C.303 and State Buy America Provisions as outlined in Price Agreement Exhibit A. If the total bid price exceeds $50,000, contractors must comply with prevailing wage rates established by Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries as of July 5, 2026. Traffic control restrictions prohibit holiday and weekend closures and lane closures during commute periods (6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday), with work required to be off-highway by noon on Fridays. Portable changeable message signs must be placed a minimum of five days in advance of any lane closures. ODOT Project Manager Cody Stone (503-953-6334, Cody.Stone@ODOT.Oregon.gov) is the designated point of contact for this work order.
