UNSPSC 50425107: Dried star of david heirloom okra

The type of vegetable known as star of david heirloom okra that has been dried for preservation.

UNSPSC 50425107 Dried star of david heirloom okra (Commodity) does not appear in the recent state and local procurement activity provided. The six most recent opportunities tagged to this code span dried beans of various types (kidney beans, black beans, pinto and red beans) and broader food supply contracts for institutional meal programs and correctional facilities, none of which involve heirloom okra or align with the code's nominal scope. The mismatch suggests that either the code was applied inconsistently in the source data or that state and local governments are not actively procuring dried heirloom okra under this taxonomy at present.

The issuing bodies in the activity sample include state corrections departments (Georgia Correctional Industries, Oregon Department of Corrections, Texas Department of Criminal Justice), a state education or institutional food program (Illinois), and municipal procurement for child nutrition (City of Edinburg, Texas). The geographic concentration spans Georgia, Oregon, Texas, and Illinois. Without confirmed opportunities genuinely related to the code's stated commodity, no meaningful assessment of current market pursuit or responsive capacity can be offered for this UNSPSC category.
