UNSPSC 10202849: Live pink sensation spray rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the pink sensation spray variety of rose

UNSPSC 10202849 Live pink sensation spray rose bush (Commodity) does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under this code. The five most recent opportunities—ranging from IT and low voltage infrastructure installation at DeKalb Tennis Center through landscaping and irrigation systems along Ridge Road in Pasco County, coastal dune plantings in Collier County, environmental restoration services across Pinellas County, and general plant purchases by the City of Dallas—involve landscape construction, ecological restoration, native plant installation, and mixed plant procurement rather than the purchase or supply of a specific cultivar of spray rose. State and local buyers soliciting under this code are not pursuing live pink sensation spray rose bushes as a discrete product line in current procurement.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being bought suggests either a cataloging error in the state and local systems tagging these opportunities or that this UNSPSC commodity code does not reflect active demand from state and local jurisdictions. No recent solicitations explicitly name spray roses or request this cultivar as a line item. Activity is concentrated in Florida (Pasco, Collier, and Pinellas Counties) and Texas (City of Dallas), but the work performed in those jurisdictions—dune restoration using sea oats and native species, environmental invasive plant removal paired with native establishment, and general ornamental procurement—operates under different scopes than this commodity. Pursue alternative codes aligned with landscape materials, environmental plantings, or general plant supply if those categories match your firm's capability.
