Other contractual service

The Florida Department of Transportation Master Agreement BDV78 is an Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) designed to support other contractual services. The contract enables procurement of specialized transportation-related services, with a primary focus on supporting the state's transportation infrastructure and operational needs. This master agreement provides a streamlined mechanism for agencies to access specific contractual services through a pre-approved vendor, facilitating efficient and targeted procurement processes.

The master agreement was awarded to Janus Research Corp on March 18, 2013, with a contract performance period of three years, concluding on March 17, 2016. As a state-level master agreement specific to Florida, the contract type is classified as a Master Agreement, providing comprehensive coverage for the state's transportation service requirements. While specific contract value details are not explicitly provided, the IDV represents a strategic contracting approach by the Florida Department of Transportation to establish a flexible and responsive procurement mechanism for specialized services.
