RR crossing-PE/instal

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Master Agreement AS412 is a specialized Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) focused on railroad crossing project services, specifically addressing highway system projects that intersect railroad right-of-way and tracks. The IDV enables comprehensive transportation infrastructure management, including constructing and maintaining highway approaches, grade crossings, and associated railroad infrastructure modifications. Services under this vehicle encompass railroad crossing surface replacements, engineering inspections, construction management, and coordinated infrastructure development involving railroad and highway systems.

The master agreement was awarded to RS&H INC and is managed by the Florida Department of Transportation, with a performance period extending from November 28, 2016, to December 31, 2050. The contract is structured as a Master Agreement covering the entire state of Florida, with a primary focus on railroad crossing projects and related transportation infrastructure improvements. While specific total contract value is not explicitly stated, supporting documentation indicates potential task order amendments can range from tens of thousands to millions of dollars, with individual change orders capable of authorizing substantial project funding, such as the $350,000 CSX Transportation modification referenced in the contract documentation.
