Drug Testing Cups and Oral Fluid Testers

The Ohio Competitive Selection IDV (ITB011368) is a mandatory use contract designed to provide comprehensive drug screening solutions for state correctional and youth services facilities. The contract enables procurement of specialized drug testing equipment, specifically twelve-panel drug testing cups and oral fluid testers capable of screening for multiple substances including amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, and cannabis. These testing devices are intended for use across approximately 28 state facilities, with a focus on supporting the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (DRC), including its Adult Parole Authority (APA).

The IDV was awarded to American Drug Screen Corporation by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) General Services Division, with an initial contract period from March 1, 2023, to February 28, 2025, and a renewal option extending through February 28, 2027. As a competitive selection contract, it provides state agencies with flexible purchasing options, including a minimum order of one case (25 individual tests) and a 30-day delivery requirement. The contract allows for potential price adjustments after the first 12 months and operates without a guaranteed purchase volume, offering participating agencies significant procurement flexibility for their drug screening needs.
