Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University awarded a contract to Fisher Scientific LLC on June 22, 2026, with a cumulative value of $470. The contract procures laboratory and personal protective equipment supplies for delivery to Catherine Parsons at a Virginia Tech facility (contact: 540-231-5718). The line items include three cases of polystyrene test tubes with snap caps (Unit Price: $99.38 per case) and two cases of nitrile gloves in small and large sizes, powder-free and latex-free (Unit Price: $86.19 per case each).

The contract represents a straightforward supplies acquisition by Virginia Tech through Fisher Scientific LLC, a major laboratory and life sciences products distributor. No specific contract performance period or annual value is indicated in the award documentation. The relatively modest cumulative contract value suggests this may be a limited-quantity purchase order or a line item from a larger blanket purchase agreement rather than a comprehensive supply contract.
