Commercial Business Systems was awarded a contract by the Virginia Department of Transportation on October 2, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of eight dollars. The contract is identified as PO05488356 and represents a procurement action by the Commonwealth of Virginia. While specific details regarding the scope of work, period of performance, and place of performance are not provided in the available documentation, the award to a commercial business systems vendor suggests the delivery of information technology, software, or related business systems services.

The extremely limited contract value of eight dollars indicates this may be a nominal or administrative contract, a pricing adjustment, or a data entry anomaly requiring verification. Additional documentation would be necessary to determine the actual products or services being delivered, the contract duration, specific performance locations, and whether this represents the complete contract value or a partial documentation of the award. Interested parties should request supplemental contract documentation from the Virginia Department of Transportation for complete award details and scope specifications.
