Carolina Biological Supply has been awarded contract PO05487372 by Piedmont Virginia Community College, effective October 1, 2026. The contract, valued at $100, represents a procurement of biological supply products or services for use by the Virginia community college institution. While the specific product categories and detailed scope of work are not enumerated in the available documentation, the contractor's commercial classification as a biological supply vendor suggests the contract likely encompasses laboratory materials, specimens, equipment, or related educational supplies necessary for the institution's instructional and research operations.

The contract performance is anticipated to occur at or through Piedmont Virginia Community College's facilities in Virginia. The cumulative contract value of $100 indicates this is a limited-scope procurement, possibly representing a blanket purchase order, a single delivery arrangement, or a trial procurement arrangement. The specific period of performance beyond the award date of October 1, 2026, and any renewal or extension options are not detailed in the source documentation provided.
