James Madison University in Virginia has awarded a contract to Adafruit Industries LLC for the procurement of specialized electronic components to support instructional laboratory development. The contract, identified as PO05483306, was awarded on September 28, 2026, with a cumulative value of $51.00. The deliverables consist of one unit comprising Adafruit 1438 motor shields and 4133 10-kilohm potentiometers, which will be delivered to Joseph Rudmin at the university for use in ISAT300 (Integrated Science and Technology 300) instructional lab development.

The line item reflects a unit price of $51.38 for the specified electronic components. These materials will support the educational mission of James Madison University's Integrated Science and Technology program by enabling hands-on laboratory instruction. As a prime contractor, Adafruit Industries LLC is responsible for the delivery and fulfillment of this procurement, which appears to be a small-value educational purchase rather than a full-scope service or supply contract with extended performance obligations.
