The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Corrections' Division of Institutions, awarded contract PO05481662 to C&L Machine & Welding Inc. on September 25, 2026. The contract carries a cumulative value of $771. While specific details regarding the scope of work, places of performance, and period of performance are not provided in the available documentation, the contractor's classification as a machine and welding service provider suggests the award likely involves fabrication, repair, or maintenance services utilizing machining and welding capabilities.

This procurement represents a routine operational award within the Virginia Department of Corrections' institutional support functions. The relatively modest contract value indicates either a limited-scope engagement, emergency repair requirement, or minor supplemental work order. Additional contract documentation would be necessary to establish the specific deliverables, performance schedule, statement of work requirements, and whether this award represents a standalone engagement or a task order under an existing blanket purchase agreement.
