The Virginia Department of Elections awarded a contract to Cater Nation on October 6, 2026, under purchase order PO05481327-V2. The contract value totals $1,879.54 and encompasses a single catered meal delivery to Andrea Gaines. The scope includes 30 smoked turkey breast sandwiches, 15 roast beef sandwiches, 10 chicken salad sandwiches, 10 tuna salad sandwiches, 10 gluten-free roast turkey sandwiches, 10 chicken Caesar salads, 10 "Big Chef" salads, and one house salad, all provided in boardroom boxes or boxed lunch format.

The contract represents a one-time food service procurement with no indication of recurring deliveries or extended performance periods. Cater Nation, as the prime contractor, was responsible for fulfilling the complete catering requirement as a single line item delivery. The purchase appears to support a departmental meeting or event requiring substantial sandwich and salad provisions to accommodate multiple attendees with various dietary preferences, including gluten-free options.
