DELIVER TO THE ATTENTION OF: Eleanor Schmalz. Quote Attached. Northern Cardinal and 7 more items

On September 23, 2026, the Science Museum of Virginia awarded contract PO05478697 to iHart Enterprises LLC for the procurement of educational bird specimens. The contract, valued at $207.00, encompasses the delivery of fourteen individual bird items representing seven species: Northern Cardinals, American Goldfinches, American Robins, House Finches, Blue Jays, Northern Mockingbirds, and Eastern Bluebirds. Each species item is priced at $12.95 per unit, with quantities of two units per species, totaling fourteen units. The contract also includes a shipping charge of $26.20.

All deliverables are designated for delivery to Eleanor Schmalz at the Science Museum of Virginia in Virginia. While the contract documentation does not specify an explicit period of performance beyond the award date, the transactional nature of the procurement and the single shipment specification suggest this is a one-time purchase order. The relatively modest contract value and focused scope indicate this procurement supports the museum's educational programming or exhibit development objectives related to avian species native to the Virginia region.
