The Virginia Department of Health awarded a contract to Farm to Family on September 2, 2026, for the provision of farm-raised produce to participants attending the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Conference 2026. The contract was issued under Purchase Order 05458512 with a total cumulative value of $7,800.00. Farm to Family, operated by Mark Lilly, is a locally-based agricultural vendor that regularly services the Virginia Department of Health, maintaining a standing presence on Thursdays for produce sales.

The scope of work encompasses the delivery of fresh, locally-farmed produce for conference catering purposes. The single line item represents a fixed-price delivery of produce to Paula Garrett at the Virginia Department of Health. The contract deliverable was classified as a one-time cost arrangement with no recurring or extended performance period specified in the documentation. This arrangement supports the Virginia Department of Health's objective to source fresh, locally-sourced agricultural products for the WIC Conference attendees.
