2027 Membership dues for the Society for American Archaeology and 1 more item

The Virginia Department of Historic Resources awarded contract PO05441495 to the Society for American Archaeology on August 17, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $449. The contract encompasses two distinct line items: annual membership dues for the Society for American Archaeology in the amount of $196, and registration for the 2027 Society for American Archaeology Conference in the amount of $253. Both deliverables are scheduled for 2027 and represent a single unit each.

This contract award reflects the Department of Historic Resources' engagement with a professional archaeological organization to maintain institutional membership and facilitate participation in the society's annual conference. The modest contract value indicates a transactional relationship focused on membership maintenance and professional development participation rather than a substantive service delivery engagement. No specific geographic performance location or extended performance period is documented beyond the 2027 calendar year reference.
