The Library of Virginia awarded contract PO05435355 to an unregistered supplier on August 11, 2026, for a cumulative contract value of $870. The contract covers registration and attendance services related to the 111th Association for the Study of African American Life and History conference, scheduled for September 23-27, 2026. Two conference registrations were procured at a unit price of $435 each, to be delivered to Nancy Sconzo. The conference attendees identified in the procurement documentation include Catherine Fitzgerald, Wyatt Ashley, and Craig Ramey.

This contract represents a straightforward procurement of professional development and educational services by the Library of Virginia, a state organization, for attendance at an academic conference focused on African American historical studies. The limited contract value and line item structure indicate this was a direct purchase of conference registrations rather than a comprehensive service or product delivery arrangement. The performance period aligns with the conference dates of September 23-27, 2026.
