Bland crane mobilization for 90-100 ton crane and 1 more item

The Virginia Department of Transportation awarded contract PO05428059 to Bevins Crane Service Inc on August 4, 2026, for crane services with a cumulative contract value of $11,500.00. The contract encompasses two primary service categories: crane mobilization and crane operation. The mobilization component consists of two units of 90-100 ton crane mobilization services at $3,500.00 per unit, while the operational component includes ten hours of 90-100 ton crane with operator services at $450.00 per hour. Both line items are designated for delivery to Karen S. Umberger.

This contract represents a specialized equipment and labor service agreement typical of transportation infrastructure and maintenance projects. The specific focus on large-capacity crane mobilization and operation suggests the services support Virginia Department of Transportation capital projects, maintenance activities, or emergency response operations requiring heavy lifting capabilities. The contract award documentation does not specify a defined performance period beyond the award date, though the hourly rate structure for crane operations indicates time-and-materials-based service delivery.
