Assy gearcase and 8 more items

Rockbridge Kubota has been awarded a contract by the Virginia Department of Corrections with an award date of June 24, 2026. The cumulative contract value is $2,096.32. The contract encompasses the supply and delivery of equipment components and materials, including an assembly gearcase ($1,897.12), pulley holder ($76.61), ball bearing ($11.98), oil seals (two units at $23.72 and $16.03 respectively), an O-ring ($4.85), a clip ($3.37), and 80W90HF gear oil in quart quantity ($7.64). The contract also includes a freight charge of $55.00. All materials are to be delivered to Marty Markum at the Virginia Department of Corrections.

The line items indicate this procurement supports maintenance or repair operations, likely for mechanical equipment used by the Department of Corrections. The specific components—gearcase assembly, bearings, seals, and gear oil—suggest the supplies are intended for servicing rotating machinery or drive systems. The relatively modest cumulative contract value and single-unit quantities for each line item are consistent with a routine maintenance parts purchase rather than a capital equipment acquisition.
