Troubleshoot Chiller at the VC Student Center as per Student Center Trane Quote dated 6/12/26… and 1 more item

Tidewater Community College in Virginia awarded contract PO05385488 to Trane U.S. Inc. on July 2, 2026, with a cumulative value of $4,202.00. The contract encompasses HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) maintenance and repair services at the college's Virginia Beach campus, specifically targeting the Student Center and Student Services facilities. The primary services include troubleshooting and repair of a chiller unit at the VC Student Center and removal and replacement of a faulty Low-Pressure Liquid Injection Device (LLID) associated with Chiller 1 at Student Services. Both deliverables are directed to Thomas Balka and are based on detailed Trane quotes and technical documentation dated June 12, 2026.

The contract reflects routine preventative and corrective maintenance activities for the college's mechanical systems infrastructure. While the line-item structure indicates quantities of 912 and 3,290 units respectively, these appear to represent component or service units associated with the chiller diagnostic and replacement work rather than discrete product units. No specific contract period of performance dates are provided in the award documentation beyond the July 2, 2026 award date. This work supports the operational continuity of critical building systems at Tidewater Community College's Virginia Beach location.
