Contract PO05384585

The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Department of Blind and Vision Impaired, awarded contract PO05384585 to Foundation for Blind Children on June 17, 2026. The contract encompasses the procurement and delivery of specialized educational materials, specifically one Braille textbook titled "Divided Loyalties" (ISBN 674) formatted in Unified English Braille (UEB) code. The contracted material is to be delivered to Nancy, with a unit price of $60.75 and a cumulative contract value of sixty dollars.

This award represents a single-line-item procurement focused on providing accessible educational resources to support the Commonwealth's mission of serving individuals with visual impairments. The Foundation for Blind Children serves as the prime contractor responsible for the delivery of the contracted Braille textbook. While specific performance period dates are not detailed in the available documentation, the award date of June 17, 2026 establishes the contract execution timeline. The minimal contract value and focused scope indicate this represents a routine procurement of specialized instructional materials rather than a comprehensive service delivery arrangement.
