Run Capacitor… and 2 more items

Southern Refrigeration Corp received a contract award from Radford University on June 12, 2026, under Purchase Order PO05381066. The contract is valued at $1,046.20 and covers the delivery of refrigeration components to Kim Noonkester at the university's location in Radford, Virginia. The three line items specified in the contract include a Heil Scroll Compressor priced at $978.92, a Run Capacitor at $15.21, and a 3/8-inch bi-flow filter-switch high acid component valued at $52.07, with each item procured in a quantity of one unit.

This procurement appears to support Radford University's refrigeration maintenance or equipment repair needs. The component specifications—scroll compressor, capacitor, and filter-switch—are consistent with commercial air conditioning or refrigeration system servicing. No specific contract performance period or annual value baseline was identified in the award documentation; however, the modest cumulative value and single-unit quantities for each line item suggest this represents either a spot purchase or a maintenance service order rather than a comprehensive system replacement or long-term service agreement.
