Labor-bad capacitor unit is pulling 5 amps on compressor - side pressure looks good and 1 more item

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation awarded contract PCO05466445 to MMHC Inc on September 10, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $131. The contract encompasses two line items totaling specific repairs and component replacements. The first line item involves labor services related to a defective capacitor unit drawing 5 amperes on a compressor system with acceptable side pressure readings, valued at $89. The second line item covers the procurement of a 40+5x370 capacitor component priced at $42.50. Both deliverables are designated for delivery to Pamela Smith.

This contract award represents a minimal-value procurement focused on equipment maintenance and component replacement. The nature of the work—addressing a malfunctioning capacitor and replacing it with specified replacement parts—suggests routine mechanical or HVAC system servicing. The cumulative contract value of $131 indicates this is a small emergency repair or maintenance action rather than a comprehensive service engagement. No specific period of performance or county designation is identified in the available contract documentation.
