The University of Mary Washington, located in Virginia, awarded a contract to Amazon.com LLC on September 2, 2026, with a cumulative value of $39.00. The contract encompasses the procurement of three textbooks for faculty members, delivered to Julie Coates-Combs Hall. The materials include two volumes supporting Professor Campos Dintrans's linguistics curriculum: "Language Transfer: Cross-Linguistic Influence in Language Learning" from the Cambridge Applied Linguistics series (used, $8.45) and "Borrowed Morphology" from the Language Contact and Bilingualism series (new, $19.90). Additionally, one used copy of "The Last Years of the Monroe Doctrine, 1945-1993" was procured for Professor Turdean at a cost of $11.48.

As prime contractor, Amazon.com LLC served as the vendor of record for this institutional purchase. The contract represents a routine educational supply acquisition typical of university operations, with individual line items sourced through third-party sellers including Shakespeare Book House and Magers & Quinn Booksellers. All materials were designated for delivery to a single location on the University of Mary Washington campus, facilitating consolidated fulfillment and distribution to the respective faculty members.
