James Madison University in Virginia awarded contract PCO05432077 to W W Grainger Inc on August 6, 2026. The contract encompasses the procurement and delivery of a single water hose fitting item with a cumulative contract value of $15.00. The specific product is a garden hose burst pressure fitting rated at 300 pounds per square inch, measuring 1/2 inch in fitting length with aluminum construction, sized at 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch, and configured as a male garden hose thread to female garden hose thread adapter. The item is designated for delivery to Melissa May at an unit price of $15.65 for one unit.

This procurement represents a minimal-value transaction consistent with routine maintenance or facilities supply requirements for a higher education institution. No specific performance period, county designation, or place of performance location beyond James Madison University has been documented in the available contract award information. The straightforward nature of the line item and its modest cost suggest this order fulfilled a direct material requirement rather than a complex service delivery engagement.
