James Madison University in Virginia awarded a contract to W. W. Grainger Inc. on August 4, 2026, with a cumulative value of $209. The contract, identified as PCO05428073, covers the procurement of hand tools and precision screwdriver sets for delivery to Sandy Brown. The award encompasses three distinct line items featuring multi-bit screwdrivers and nut driver sets with various tip configurations and magnetic storage capabilities.

The contract deliverables include one nut driver set (unit price $45.30), one multi-bit screwdriver with socket and quick-change features (unit price $66.50), and four multi-bit screwdrivers with Phillips, slotted, square, and Torx tip options and quick-change/cushion handles (unit price $24.32 each). All items feature molded or cushioned handles and magnetic bit storage or attachment capabilities. The low aggregate contract value and single delivery recipient indicate this represents a routine tool procurement for institutional use by James Madison University.
