Christopher Newport University in Virginia awarded contract PCO05374407 to Covetrus North America on June 24, 2026. The contract encompasses the procurement of veterinary and medical supplies, including anesthesia gas filtration equipment, pharmaceutical solutions, and related medical consumables. Specific line items include an anesthesia gas filter can for air bicycle systems ($8.26 per unit), physiological saline solution in 500 milliliter bottles ($6.53 per unit), isoflurane solution in 100 milliliter bottles ($15.29 per unit), soft pack syringes measuring 1 milliliter with 25 gauge needles at 5/8 inch length in 100-count packages ($12.97 per unit), and OptiXcare eye lubricant in 20 gram containers ($9.90 per unit). Delivery of all materials is directed to Darlene Mitrano and Emily Vann, with a shipping charge of $16.00 per shipment.

The contract represents a single procurement action for specialized medical and pharmaceutical supplies, with individual unit pricing established for each line item. While specific contract value totals, annual value figures, and the complete performance period are not detailed in the award documentation, the unit pricing structure and itemized goods indicate this is a discrete supply order for veterinary medical purposes, consistent with Christopher Newport University's operational requirements.
