Caseworks/latentworks/biometric licenses and 1 more item

The Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Forensic Science, has awarded contract PO05469514 to Mideo Systems Inc., effective September 15, 2026. The contract encompasses the delivery of specialized biometric and forensic software licensing solutions with a cumulative value of $36,052.60. The primary deliverable consists of CaseWorks/LatentWorks/Biometric licenses valued at $32,486.16, with delivery designated to Samantha Glass. This component represents the substantial majority of the contract value and provides integrated case management and latent fingerprint analysis capabilities with biometric functionality.

The contract also includes a secondary line item for Biometric Connect Tenprint licenses valued at $3,566.44, also designated for delivery to Samantha Glass. These tenprint licenses enable digital fingerprint capture and analysis capabilities. Together, these software licensing solutions support the Department of Forensic Science's operational requirements for forensic analysis and biometric processing. The contract structure and line item specifications indicate these are software licensing arrangements rather than perpetual purchases, typical of ongoing technology services in state forensic laboratory operations.
