VA Industries for the Blind has been awarded contract PCO05487027 by Catawba Hospital in Virginia, effective October 1, 2026. The contract carries a cumulative value of $6,550.00. While the specific products and services to be delivered under this contract are not detailed in the available documentation, the contracting organization and awardee designation suggest the engagement likely involves goods or services procured through Virginia's sheltered workshop program for individuals with blindness or severe visual impairments.

The award represents a procurement action by a Virginia-based healthcare facility. The limited contract value and designation of VA Industries for the Blind as the prime contractor indicate this may constitute a small-value purchase or a portion of a larger service requirement. Additional contract documentation, including the statement of work or purchase order details, would be necessary to specify the exact nature of deliverables, performance location, and complete period of performance for this engagement.
