Safety glasses, disposable, clear lens, 12 per box

Virginia has awarded contract PO05402350 to Virginia Distribution Center – Virginia Distribution Center (VDC), administered through the Department of General Services (DGS). The contracting organization is Indian Creek Correctional Center. The award was issued on July 9, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $47.00. The contract encompasses the delivery of safety glasses, specifically disposable clear lens units packaged at 12 per box, with a total quantity of 5 boxes ordered at a unit price of $9.42 per box. Delivery is designated to the General Warehouse facility.

This procurement represents a routine supply acquisition through Virginia's centralized distribution system. The modest contract value and standardized personal protective equipment specification indicate this is likely a routine replenishment order for correctional facility operations. The involvement of the Virginia Distribution Center as the prime contractor reflects the Commonwealth's utilization of its internal state supply distribution apparatus to fulfill the material needs of Indian Creek Correctional Center.
