Contract PO05390302

The Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Division of Community Corrections, awarded contract PO05390302 to Virginia Distribution Center (VDC), operated by the Department of General Services, on June 25, 2026. The contract encompasses the supply of disposable bags and related materials with a cumulative value of $140. The contract deliverables consist of two distinct line items: 5 units of 5-pound paper bags (500 bags per bundle) at a unit price of $21.39 each, and 3 cases of plastic sandwich bags (2,000 bags per case) at a unit price of $11.28 per case.

The supplies procured under this contract are intended to support the operational requirements of the Division of Community Corrections. The relatively modest contract value and the nature of the commodities—standard disposable bags used for food service and general storage purposes—suggest these materials are consumable supplies for routine institutional use. Virginia Distribution Center, as the awardee and centralized supply distributor for state agencies, serves as the prime contractor responsible for fulfilling the delivery and supply requirements under this purchase order.
