The Commonwealth of Virginia, through its Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), awarded contract PCO05490803 to Colonial Scientific Inc. on October 6, 2026. The contract encompasses the procurement and delivery of specialized fieldwork equipment, specifically TIDEWE 600G Hunting Chest Waders designed for women (Size 6) featuring 3.5mm neoprene insulation and waterproof rubber boots. The single line item is valued at $149.99, with a cumulative contract value of $149.

The equipment is designated for delivery to Kevin Sawyer at DEQ's Surface Water Investigations division, located at 900 Natural Resources Drive, Suite 600, in Charlottesville, Virginia. This procurement supports the Department's surface water investigation operations and reflects a minimal-value purchase order typical of routine equipment acquisitions by state environmental agencies. The contracted waders will facilitate fieldwork activities requiring waterproof protection and thermal insulation for personnel conducting surface water assessments and investigations.
