The Virginia Department of Health awarded a contract to Colonial Scientific Inc. on September 16, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $1,397.20. The contract is identified as CTR005910 and assigned to Procurement Officer 05470577. The primary deliverable under this award consists of Troll Com Plus devices, which are portable communication instruments featuring Universal Serial Bus Type-C connectivity with a sliding protective cover and a one-piece molded frame design compatible with the In-Situ product ecosystem.

Colonial Scientific Inc. is obligated to deliver two units of the Troll Com Plus equipment at a unit price of $698.60 each to Todd Egerton. The contract represents a transactional procurement for specialized scientific instrumentation by the Virginia Department of Health, though the specific end-use application and performance period are not detailed in the available documentation. The modest contract value and limited scope indicate this is a straightforward equipment acquisition rather than a comprehensive service engagement.
