About this award
George Mason University in Virginia awarded a contract to Amazon.com LLC on August 21, 2026, with a cumulative value of twenty dollars ($20). The contract encompasses the procurement of laboratory and scientific equipment to be delivered to GMU Purchasing. The award includes one AmScope Square Glass Microscope Slide at a unit price of $10.99 and two United Scientific MSL3X1 Microscope Slide items at a unit price of $4.64 each.
This procurement appears to support the university's laboratory operations through the acquisition of microscopy-related supplies and equipment components. The minimal contract value and straightforward line-item structure suggest this represents a routine supply purchase rather than a comprehensive service or systems delivery engagement.
