Mebm basal medium 500 ML BOT and 2 more items

George Mason University in Virginia awarded a contract to LON USA Walkersville on July 21, 2026, for the procurement of laboratory media and supplies. The contract, identified as A247_PC_TXN00615308, carries a cumulative value of $576.00 and encompasses three distinct line items. The supplies are to be delivered to GMU Purchasing and include MEBM Basal Medium in 500 milliliter bottles (two units at $142.86 each), MEGM SingleQuot Kit Supplies and Kit components (two units at $130.48 each), and a refrigeration handling fee (one unit at $30.03).

The contract reflects a straightforward materials acquisition for research or laboratory support purposes at George Mason University. All line items are designated for delivery to GMU Purchasing, indicating centralized procurement management. While the contract documents do not specify an explicit performance period or annual value separate from the cumulative contract amount, the award date of July 21, 2026, establishes the contract execution date. The relatively modest contract value and the nature of the deliverables—biological media and associated handling services—suggest this represents a routine consumable supply procurement rather than a substantial or ongoing service engagement.
