Contract A236_PCTXN01487534a

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) awarded contract A236_PCTXN01487534a to OpenAI ChatGPT Subscr on September 8, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $100. The contract involves the delivery of one unit of an unspecified product or service to VCU Purchasing. While the line item description does not explicitly identify the goods or services being procured, the contractor name suggests this award relates to a ChatGPT subscription offering from OpenAI.

The contract was executed in Virginia with performance directed to VCU Purchasing. The minimal contract value of $100 and single-unit quantity indicate this may represent either a pilot procurement, a subscription renewal period, or a supplemental agreement. No specific period of performance is documented in the award record beyond the September 8, 2026 execution date. The vague government description of the deliverable prevents definitive characterization of the products or services involved; additional contract documentation would be required to establish precise scope and performance obligations.
