Contract A236_PCTXN01468417a

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) awarded a contract to OpenAI ChatGPT Subscr on June 9, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of twenty dollars ($20). The contract, identified as A236_PCTXN01468417a, represents a procurement of one unit at a unit price of twenty dollars, to be delivered to VCU Purchasing. While the specific line item description is marked as unknown in the contracting documentation, the nominal contract value and single-unit quantity suggest a minimal-value procurement transaction.

The contract was executed by Virginia Commonwealth University as the contracting organization in Virginia. No specific period of performance, county designation, or detailed statement of work is documented in the available award materials. Given the extremely limited contract value, this procurement may represent a pilot purchase, a nominal transaction for testing or evaluation purposes, or an administrative transaction of minimal operational significance. The absence of detailed performance specifications precludes further characterization of the deliverables or services scope beyond the documented unit acquisition.
