Apple has been awarded a contract by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Virginia, effective October 5, 2026, with a cumulative value of $1,672.00. The contract encompasses the delivery of Apple hardware and support products to VCU Procurement. The specific items include one Magic Mouse White MultiTouch Surface ($79), one Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for Mac ($149), one 13-inch MacBook Air with Apple M5 chip ($1,199), and one four-year AppleCare for Schools coverage plan for the 13-inch MacBook ($245).

The contract represents a purchase of computing equipment and extended warranty services for use by Virginia Commonwealth University. All line items are to be delivered to VCU Procurement. While no explicit contract performance period is identified beyond the award date, the inclusion of a four-year AppleCare plan indicates an intended service term extending through 2030. This procurement supports VCU's technology infrastructure needs through the acquisition of current-generation Apple computing devices and associated technical support coverage.
