Amazon.com has been awarded contract A236_P0345146 by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) effective August 3, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $264. This procurement encompasses the delivery of electronics and hardware components to VCU Procurement, including microcontroller boards (Nano 33 BLE Sense Rev2 and ESP32C3 OLED WiFi modules), lithium polymer batteries and charging modules, connectivity accessories (USB-C cables and micro USB-to-USB-C adapters), and supplementary electronic components such as heat shrink tubing, solid core wire, and wrist compression sleeves. All deliveries are designated for VCU Procurement in Virginia.

The contract line items consist of twelve separate product orders totaling thirteen units across various electronic and supply categories. Notable component purchases include three Nano 33 BLE Sense Rev2 microcontroller boards at $37.93 each, multiple 3.7V lithium polymer batteries at varying capacities and price points, and connectivity solutions including USB-C cables and charging circuit modules. The relatively modest cumulative value and composition of items suggests this procurement supports institutional research, prototyping, or educational initiatives requiring embedded systems and electronics components.
