UFB RT LowGDD Ultrafast Beamspl and 3 more items

Virginia Commonwealth University has awarded a contract to ThorLabs Inc. for optical and photonics equipment, effective June 29, 2026. The contract, identified as A236_P0342501, is valued at $1,414.44 and will be delivered to Virginia Commonwealth University Procurement in Virginia. The prime contractor will supply specialized optical components including an ultrafast beamsplitter with low group delay dispersion, kinematic mirror mounts, a coated fused silica window with antireflection coating mounted on a conflat flange, and an unmounted continuously variable neutral density filter.

The line items comprise four distinct optical components with quantities totaling six units across the specified items. The ultrafast beamsplitter accounts for the largest unit cost at $441.20, followed by the neutral density filter at $512.24, the coated window assembly at $326.66, and three kinematic mirror mounts at $44.78 each. No specific period of performance or annual value is separately identified in the contract documentation, and all deliverables are designated for Virginia Commonwealth University Procurement.
