Fern Cinnamon #1 and 3 more items

Crow's Nest Greenhouses was awarded a contract by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University on September 17, 2026, for the procurement of horticultural plant materials. The contract, identified as A208_P4842323, carries a cumulative value of $798 and involves the delivery of four distinct plant line items to Rentschler Jeffery. The plants specified include 22 Fern Cinnamon #1 units at $9.50 each, 22 Fern Ostrich #1 units at $9.50 each, 4 Fothergilla "Blue Shadow" #3 units at $36.50 each, and 6 Hydrangea "Tiny Quick Fire" #3 units at $39.00 each.

The contract represents a procurement of plant stock totaling 54 individual plant units across four botanical varieties. All deliveries are designated to Rentschler Jeffery as the consignee. No specific performance period beyond the award date of September 17, 2026, is identified in the contract documentation provided. The relatively modest contract value and specific plant selections suggest this procurement may be associated with horticultural research, landscaping, or educational initiatives conducted by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
