Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) awarded contract A208_P4824068 to Kroger Limited Partnership 1, effective August 13, 2026. The contract carries a cumulative value of $103. While the specific products and services are not detailed in the available contract documentation, the selection of a major retail grocery operator as the prime contractor suggests the agreement likely pertains to food service, procurement, or retail goods supply. The contracting organization's status as a major research university indicates potential applicability to campus dining operations, food services, or related institutional procurement needs.

The contract does not specify a defined period of performance, annual value, or designated place of performance in the available materials. The minimal contract value of $103 is unusually low for institutional procurement agreements and may indicate a standardized pricing document, a pilot program, or a data entry anomaly. Additional contract documentation would be necessary to clarify the full scope of work, service delivery locations, performance timelines, and the substantive nature of goods or services to be provided under this award.
