PET Imaging - F-18 FDG

PRECISION NUCLEAR VIRGINIA LLC has been awarded a contract by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University effective July 10, 2026, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The contract carries a cumulative value of $380.00 and encompasses the delivery of positron emission tomography (PET) imaging materials utilizing fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (F-18 FDG), a radioactive tracer commonly used in diagnostic imaging procedures. The line item specifies a quantity of two units at a unit price of $190.06 each, with delivery directed to Deborah Boles.

The contract represents a specialized medical imaging supply arrangement supporting Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University's operational requirements. As a procurement by an institution of higher education rather than a state agency, this contract falls under the university's direct purchasing authority. The modest contract value and single line item structure indicate a targeted, transactional procurement for specific diagnostic imaging materials rather than an ongoing service engagement. The specific period of performance beyond the award date and the exact location of performance are not detailed in the materials provided.
