Acid Base, Sulfur Forms, Sample Prep and 1 more item

Sturm Environmental Services was awarded a contract by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University on June 16, 2026, for the provision of environmental laboratory services. The cumulative contract value is $1,385.00. The contract encompasses two primary line items: acid base and sulfur forms sample preparation services, with 16 units ordered at $85.00 per unit, and an environmental impact disposal fee totaling $25.00. Both deliverables are directed to Tilley Athena at the contracting organization's location in Virginia, with contact available at (540) 231-9787.

The contract represents a specialized environmental testing and sample management engagement within the Commonwealth of Virginia. The combination of analytical sample preparation and associated disposal fees indicates support for environmental compliance and laboratory operations at the state's land-grant research institution. The contract structure and modest cumulative value suggest this may constitute a single purchase order or task order rather than an ongoing service agreement, with performance centered on Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University's facilities.
