StemCell Technologies Inc. was awarded a purchase order by the University of Virginia on October 10, 2026, under contract number A207_PO-0490348. The contract is valued at $660 and represents a state and local contract award within Virginia. While the specific products and services to be delivered are not detailed in the provided documentation, the contractor's core business operations and industry classification suggest the deliverables likely involve stem cell research materials, biological reagents, or related biotechnology products or services that support the University's research objectives.

The University of Virginia serves as the contracting organization and implied place of performance, though the precise scope of work, detailed performance schedule, and specific contract period are not explicitly stated in the available award information. The relatively modest cumulative value of $660 suggests this purchase order may represent either a limited-scope procurement, a supplemental or standalone acquisition, or a component of a larger institutional procurement strategy. Additional contract documentation would be required to establish the complete period of performance and comprehensive details regarding deliverables and performance requirements.
