The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0490202 to Quartzy on October 10, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $716. While the specific products and services are not detailed in the available documentation, the contract designation and awardee profile suggest this procurement relates to laboratory or research supply management services. Quartzy's platform specializes in inventory and procurement solutions for research and academic institutions, indicating the contract likely encompasses supply chain management, inventory tracking, or procurement support services for University of Virginia operations.

The contract represents a relatively modest procurement typical of routine operational or research support purchases within an academic institution. Performance details, including specific locations and contract duration, are not specified in the available award documentation. As a Virginia state contract administered through the University of Virginia, this award is subject to Virginia procurement regulations and institutional oversight. The minimal contract value suggests this may represent a single purchase order or limited-scope service delivery rather than a comprehensive or ongoing service engagement.
