The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0485613 to Sigma-Aldrich Inc on September 29, 2026, with a cumulative contract value of $341. Sigma-Aldrich Inc serves as the prime contractor under this award issued by a Virginia-based contracting organization. The contract represents a procurement action within the Commonwealth of Virginia, though specific performance location details and contract duration parameters are not delineated in the available documentation.

The limited financial scope of this award—totaling $341 cumulatively—suggests this procurement may represent a single purchase order or component of a larger master agreement framework rather than a comprehensive service or product delivery contract. Sigma-Aldrich Inc, a recognized supplier in laboratory and chemical products, would be the sole responsible party for fulfilling the stated contractual obligations. Without additional specification regarding deliverables, performance milestones, or period of performance, the precise nature of products or services rendered cannot be determined from the information provided; however, the award aligns with typical University of Virginia procurement activities for laboratory supplies or research materials.
