Courts, Judges, and Politics and 2 more items

The University of Virginia awarded contract A207_PO-0475134 to Amazon Capital Services, Inc. on September 1, 2026, with a total contract value of $145.00. The contract is for the procurement of three distinct items, all delivered to Kip R Gobin at the University of Virginia in Virginia. The line items consist of three separate purchases: "Courts, Judges, and Politics" at a unit price of $71.24; "Law in the Ancient World" at a unit price of $49.00; and "Test Tube Families: Why the Fertility Market Needs Legal Regulation" at a unit price of $25.00, with each item representing a quantity of one.

The contract represents a routine procurement transaction for educational materials or publications by the University of Virginia's contracting office. The modest contract value and the nature of the deliverables—three distinct titles addressing legal and regulatory topics—suggest this acquisition supports the institution's academic or research mission. No specific period of performance beyond the award date of September 1, 2026, is indicated in the contract documentation provided.
