Fisher Scientific Company LLC, the prime contractor, was selected to provide goods or services to support the university's operational requirements. The specific products or services to be delivered under this award cannot be definitively determined from the available contract documentation, as detailed scope-of-work information is not included in the provided materials.

The contract was administered by the University of Virginia, a higher education institution and contracting organization within Virginia. The modest cumulative contract value of $259 suggests this purchase order addresses a discrete, limited-scope requirement rather than a comprehensive service engagement. The performance location and detailed period of performance are not specified in the available contract data. Given the nature of the awardee—a scientific and laboratory supply distributor—the contract likely involves the procurement of laboratory equipment, chemicals, or related scientific materials; however, this determination is based on the contractor's general business classification rather than explicit contract documentation.
